The 2^nd Annual Sacramento Aloha Festival presented by Hui O Huawaii of Sacramento, Inc. will be held at Cal Expo, California’s Exposition Fairgrounds, on October 13, 2012 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Admission is FREE with the donation of a non-perishable food item (all donations going to The Senior Gleaners http://www.seniorgleaners.org/).  The event will feature Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander exhibits, workshops, presentations, arts and crafts, merchandise, food, performances, music and more.

Bring the entire family and stay all day to experience a showcase of the Polynesian cultures from within California.  Discover educational, health and community resources related to the Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander cultures; learn how to play the ukulele, braid a ti leaf lei, learn a hula and make a poi ball; purchase unique gifts and enjoy great food without having to go on vacation; learn about the people of Hawaii, New Zealand, Tonga, Fiji, Tahiti, Guam, and Samoa; and relish in the sights and sounds of Hawaiian music, hula and Tahitian dancing.
