Join Discovery Bay Elementary’s DB Running Club for the Inaugural Monster Dash 5K and their goal event on Saturday, October 27. Sponsored by the Discovery Bay Elementary PTA and in conjunction with Booville, proceeds from this event will help the PTA provide much-needed funds for the school in a time when funding has been dramatically slashed.
 

But this event doesn’t just benefit the Discovery Bay Elementary PTA.  The largest BUSD School Team (Timber Point or Excelsior) will receive a cash donation to it’s PTA!  $2 per person representing that school will be awarded to the winner!

50 students ranging from 1st through 5th grades are running their way through a 10-week training program to prepare for this community 5K.  Bring the family to the park, invite the neighbors, call your friends and dash with the monsters!  This is a family friendly, community event and fun for everyone!  A flat and fast 5k course starts and finishes at Cornell Park and circles Willow Lake in a clock-wise fashion.  Click here for a Monster Dash 5k map.
