There are currently about 900 children in foster care in Contra Costa County (275 who are ages 6-12 that qualify) to go to Royal Family Kids Camp.
Royal Family Kids Camp is a non-profit organization that provides this camp experience over a one week period for a child and creates a lifelong difference for these children who come from our foster care system. For many of these children, their week at RFKC is the first time ever in their lives they feel security, warmth and love from dedicated adult caregivers.
The camp is free for all children who qualify and are currently in the foster care system in our county. It is staffed by all volunteers who “vacation with a purpose” and spend a week loving, encouraging and speaking hope into the lives of these children who so desperately need it.
Please come join us in making a difference in the lives of these children by attending “A Royal Tea” fundraiser. All proceeds will go directly to the local Royal Family Kids Camp to support kids of abuse and neglect in a royal camp experience in 2012.
