If you have a family, want a family or know a family, Antioch’s El Campanil Theatre is the place to be Saturday April 28 at 8 p.m. for “3 Blonde Moms,” a high-energy, semi-improvisational comedy show about being a mom, having a mom, plus kids, schools, husbands, neighbors and in-laws.

The cast features the feisty, tell-it-like-it-is mom Kat Simmons, eWomen’s International Talent Contest winner, who performs nationwide at comedy clubs, including Harrah’s in Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe, The Improv Comedy Clubs, and has appeared on Comedy Central.

Hottie mom Donna Cherry, a former Miss California, has opened for Barry Manilow and made appearances on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives,” Disney’s “Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” done the voiceover for Jay Jay the Jet Plane on PBS and starred as Kate in the recent L.A. production of “Kiss Me Kate.”

The show’s creator and producer, the perky Joanie Fagan, played Faith on ABC’s “The Drew Carey Show” and has appeared in Disney’s “Angels in the Outfield,” “Race to Space” and dozens of commercials.

For tickets to “3 Blonde Moms,” call 925-757-9500 or visit www.elcampaniltheatre.com. The El Campanil Theatre is located at 602 W. Second St. in Antioch.
