Healthcare is the largest employment sector in the nation and will continue to grow as technology keeps people alive longer. Couple that with the current economic downturn and related unemployment, and it’s understandable that Antioch Adult School, in partnership with Boston Reed College, is pleased to announce new Allied Healthcare training programs to be offered this fall.

The programs are designed to provide fast-paced training to prepare students for the healthcare workforce. Students will experience a hands-on externship at a local healthcare facility. To introduce these new training opportunities, a free online information session is offered to allow prospective students to find out more about opportunities in allied healthcare. Register by visiting www.bostonreedcollege.com and clicking on Get More Info.

Upcoming this semester:

• Clinical Medical Assistant: Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-4:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 12.

• Clinical Medical Assistant: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-8:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 4.

• Pharmacy Technician: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1- 4:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 4.

For information about classes or to register, call 800-201-1141.
