The clerk positively identified Warren and Thomas as the two that robbed him. Subsequent interviews were conducted with all three and confessions were given by Warren and Thomas eventually confessed not only to the Dutch Pride robbery, but to four other armed robberies perpetrated since April 14. All three were booked at the Contra Costa County Jail in Martinez on robbery charges. When detectives re-interviewed Williams at the county jail, he admitted to participating in three of the additional robberies.
