Officers of the Antioch Police Department were flagged down by a citizen, who reported that he had seen a dead body at the waterfront.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found an unidentified male dead inside a tent in a homeless encampment west of McElheny Road.
The decomposition of the body suggested that the man had been dead for several days.
