Steven Robinson likes to decorate his Brentwood home for the holidays so that his whole neighborhood may enjoy the twinkle and sparkle of Christmas, and this year, his neighbors said thank you in a big way.

This week, Robinson received the Brentwood Advisory Neighborhood Committee (BANC) Home of the Season award for best lighting display in Brentwood. Neighbors nominated the Robison home, which Steven shares with wife Brandy and daughter Kaylee, for its festive display featuring an inflatable Mickey Mouse dressed as Santa, a gingerbread family and a huge Disney snow globe. The profusion of decorations relegates even Santa to the periphery, relaxing in a hammock and enjoying the lighted snowflakes and snowmen, animated reindeer and view of the Robinson Christmas tree standing next to the front window.

The Home of the Season honor is the December installment of BANC’s Home of the Month program. As part of the honor, the Robinson family received a yard sign announcing the home’s winning status, plus coffee mugs and a special Home Depot parking pass.

To view the Robinson’s award-winning holiday display, drive by 2708 St Regis Ave. in the Shadow Lakes housing development in Brentwood to enjoy the wondrous glow of the holidays.
