St. Ignatius of Antioch Church will host a concert celebrating the 342nd anniversary of the birthday of the great Baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach on Saturday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. Organist Donald Pearson will perform selections from Bach’s organ literature in a program inaugurated in Denver, where Pearson served as organist for St. John’s Cathedral. Pearson will play a three-manual and pedal Rodgers Custom Trillium Masterpiece 958 organ – the largest organ in East County. The parish will also host a Bach Birthday Reception in the parish hall immediately following the concert, featuring birthday cake and champagne.
