The second annual Liberty Bell Alumni Football Game is scheduled for Nov. 3 at Liberty High School.

According to Kevin Lee of Alumni Athletics USA, which organizes the game, the Lions alumni want to prove that last year’s 9-3 hard-fought victory was no fluke, though Freedom’s alumni have plans to redeem the loss.

Lee said the game promises to pack the same punch as last year’s, including pre-game and halftime activities. A parachutist is scheduled to deliver the game ball at midfield prior to kickoff.

Lee said organizers are still looking for businesses to sponsor the event. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 the day of the event. For tickets, Liberty fans can call Kari Wood at 209-969-9079 or Liberty High School at 925-634-3521. Freedom fans should call Matt Pirnat at 925-382-1940 or Freedom High School at 925-625-5900.

Players can sign up online at www.alumniathleticsusa.com, call Lee at 707-849-6777 or e-mail kevin@alumniathleticsusa.com.
