On Aug. 29, the Liberty High School Athletic Booster Club will hold its 30th annual Truck Raffle Dinner. Only 125 raffle tickets are sold each year; however, not all are available because past ticket holders have the right to renew their number each year.

The raffle ticket is entered in a drawing for a new Ford truck, or $10,000, includes booster spirit gear, two passes to every home sporting event, dinner and a prize in the raffle.

In the past, this event has maintained a wait list of up to four years. This year, however, there are currently fewer than 10 tickets available, as some of the ticket holders have held their tickets for 30 years and continue to be supporters of Liberty High School.

Those interested in purchasing raffle tickets ($275) or dinner-only tickets to participate in auction items ($25) should call Stephanie Stone at 925-759-4157. To donate or sponsor a prize for the event, call Tony George at 925-915-8669.

For more than 30 years, the Athletic Booster Club has been striving to raise funds to supplement high school athletes. As a nonprofit organization, the boosters contribute to all 19 sports – boys and girls – at Liberty High School.
