June 20, 1:59 p.m. A house under construction on Efie Court was broken into and appliances were stolen.
June 20, 9:38 a.m. On Balfour Road at John Muir Parkway, a subject stopped for vehicle code violations was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest warrant and be driving on a suspended license. He was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.
June 20, 2:02 p.m. An unidentified person attempted to break into a residence on West Country Club Drive by kicking open the front door.
June 20, 2:13 p.m. At a business on Sand Creek Road, a group of unidentified subjects selected approximately eight sunglasses and left the business without paying for them.
June 20, 3:01 p.m. A subject was found wandering in the middle of the roadway on Chestnut Street. She was unharmed.
June 20, 3:31 p.m. An unidentified person entered a bank on Shady Willow Lane and demanded money.
June 20, 4:19 p.m. At a business on Sand Creek Road, a subject lost his wallet containing cash and credit cards. One of the cards was subsequently used to make fraudulent transactions in Brentwood and Antioch.
June 20, 5:44 p.m. A resident of Westpoint Way advised officers that her dogs had been poisoned and killed. Contra Costa County Animal Control was notified and assumed management of the investigation.
June 20, 8:45 p.m. A driver who lost control of his vehicle and struck a curb and wall on Walnut Boulevard at Balfour Road was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and transported for treatment to a local hospital, where a blood sample was obtained.
June 20, 10:41 p.m. An unidentified person broke into a locked vehicle parked on Castello Ranch Road and stole a purse, wallet, driver’s license and credit cards.
June 21, 12:01 a.m. On Castellina Drive, a subject stopped for erratic driving was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of suspected methamphetamine. He was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.
June 21, 10:26 a.m. A light pole covering on Armstrong Road at Hudson Drive was damaged.
June 21, 12:33 a.m. At a school on Second Street, a subject who set off alarms was apprehended and found in possession of fireworks. He was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.
June 21, 3:28 p.m. An unidentified person stole a wallet left on top of a park bench on McClarren Road.
June 21, 6:10 p.m. A resident of Waterville Drive reported suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of his dog.
