March 21, 5:41 a.m. California Highway Patrol reported that a stolen vehicle belonging to a resident of Brushwood Place was found on fire on Kirker Pass Road.

March 21, 9 a.m. An unidentified person opened the unlocked side panels of a truck parked on Valley Green Drive and stole construction tools. Estimated loss: $1,250.

March 21, 9:20 a.m. An unidentified person used the bank card number of a resident of Spruce Street to purchase $202.40 worth of gasoline in Monterey Park.

March 21, 10:48 a.m. An unidentified person illegally activated water service at the residence on Continente Avenue.

March 21, 2:46 p.m. An unidentified person used the Social Security number of a resident of Amber Lane for income-reporting purposes.

March 21, 3 p.m. An unidentified person opened a checking and savings account using the personal information of a resident of Big Basin Drive.

March 21, 3:30 p.m. An unidentified person used the personal information of a resident of Paradise Lane to fraudulently obtain a prescription in San Francisco.

March 21, 3:26 p.m. An unidentified person stole copper piping from the roof air conditioning unit of a business on Sand Creek Road. Estimated loss: $500.

March 21, 3:28 p.m. An unidentified person attempted to activate a stolen cell phone. The phone was recovered on Sand Creek Road and its owner was notified.

March 21, 7 p.m. On Bonita Way at Arroyo Seco Road, a subject was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

March 21, 7:26 p.m. A subject was placed under citizen’s arrest for shoplifting from a business on Lone Tree Way and released on a Juvenile Affidavit.

March 22, 8:39 a.m. An abandoned vehicle parked on Fitzgerald Lane was towed.

March 22, 11:22 a.m. An unidentified driver struck a vehicle parked on First Street at Oak Street and fled without providing required contact information.

March 22, 11:47 a.m. An unidentified person stole copper wire from street lamps on Apricot Way.

March 22, 1:45 p.m. A resident of Sunflower Lane returned home to find that several window screens had been tampered with, but that no entry into the residence had been made.

March 22, 4:25 p.m. A rear-end collision on the Highway 4 Bypass at Balfour Road resulted in minor damage to one vehicle.
