Brentwood resident and Loma Vista Elementary student Bailee Henry, 9, recently won the coveted national title of USA National Princess 2012. Bailee claimed the national crown, scholarship money and an extensive prize package at the national pageant held in Atlanta, Ga.

As a national titleholder, Bailee will travel the country this year for appearances, photo shoots, charity events and media interviews. Her first venture as national royalty will be to return to Georgia for a professional photo shoot including professional hair and makeup, and limousine transportation on an all-expense paid weekend getaway with the other national titleholders in the USA National Miss Scholarship Organization.

As national royalty, Bailee is being featured in a national ad in Pageantry Magazine, and will also be featured in ongoing national promotions and feature articles in national magazines and on the Internet.

As a charity-driven organization, USA National Miss will enable Bailee to work with some of the organization’s official charities and her charities of choice, including Shepherd’s Gate and Project Night Night.

“We are so thrilled to be represented by a young woman who is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside, and who has a passion to serve her community and be a role model to other girls,” said Jackie Watson, national executive director of USA National Miss, headquartered in Georgia. “The USA National Miss Scholarship Organization is honored to have Bailee as one of our national queens, and we know that she will inspire other girls to achieve their goals.”

Bailee will travel to Atlanta to crown her successor at the 2013 USA National Miss Pageant next June.

USA National Miss, featured on national TV and magazines, provides scholarship opportunities for young women and a platform to achieve their goals and give back to the community.
