I am proud to be a teacher in the Byron School District. It is indeed rare to have the collection of professionals as exists here in Byron all completely dedicated to working as hard as humanly possible toward the end goal of providing the best possible education for each and every student.

Rest assured, accountability has returned to Byron. This current school board is a cohesive group of community leaders dedicated to making decisions that are in the best interest of children. It goes without saying that they are also outstanding supporters of their teachers.

With test scores on the rise, amazingly talented principals at each site, an incredible vice principal at the middle school and the prospects of a dynamic new leader soon to become a reality, our journey toward excellence in education is becoming a reality.
