The Bristow Middle School Sixth Grade Cadet Band performed recently at several local schools as part of its spring tour. The 115-member ensemble, under the direction of Mark Morello, visited Loma Vista, Marsh Creek and Pioneer elementary schools to show fourth- and fifth-graders the exciting opportunities of school band participation. At right, Morello chats with students at Pioneer. At the end of each performance, the host school’s fifth-grade band joined the Bristow band to the delight of the audience.
