The City of Oakley is gearing up for its 11th annual Cityhood Celebration on Saturday, July 3 at 6 p.m. at Freedom High School, 1050 Neroly Road.

The event will feature music, arts and craft vendors, food vendors, bounce houses, laser tag, a rock climbing wall, petting zoo, pony rides, Euro Bungy, a clown, temporary tattoos and the new Robo Surf.

As if that’s not enough, plan to bring a lawn chair or blankets for the Fireworks Extravaganza, which promises to be just as good as last year’s, seen above. Admission and parking is free, and a $5 wristband is good for unlimited rides.
