The Antioch Police Department, Sutter Delta Medical Center and the Prewett Family Water Park are hosting the annual Child Safety Day on Saturday, Aug. 5, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Prewett Family Water Park, 4701 Lone Tree Way.

This event will include fingerprinting by the Antioch/Brentwood Masonic Lodge and information on young child safety, outdoor and home safety for children, infant/child CPR, child car seat safety and stranger danger. There will also be gang, drug and bike safety informational booths as well as large vehicle displays, canine demonstrations and an appearance by 'McGruff the Crime Dog.'

The event will be held inside the Prewett Water Park, and admission into the park is required. For additional information, call 779-6924.
