Creekside Christian Church is hosting Creekside Funny Bone, a night of good, clean comedy on Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. The event features comedians Huck Flynn and Albert Vallejo, refreshments, a raffle, and free child care for event goers who reserve space for their children.

Proceeds from the $15 price of admission will make it possible for a team of families to help kids in San Vicente, Mexico whose parents work in labor camps.

Albert Vallejo began performing stand-up in college during class! Since then, he has performed at the Punchline, Improv, Comedy store, Catch a Raising Star, and many others. Vallejo also performs for benefits and fundraisers. He has appeared in concert with Fog Hat, Tower of Power, Rick Springfield, Russ Freeman and the Rippingtons, Richard Lewis and many more.

Huck Flynn, the headliner for the evening, is a California comedian with a country background. Brought up in rural Thousand Oaks, Huck grew up under the country and rockabilly influence of Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Creedence Clearwater Revival and others.

Tickets are on sale now at Creekside Christian Church, 305 Town Centre Terrace in Brentwood, for $15 each. Proceeds from Creekside Funny Bone will help fund the church's mission trip to Mexico in October. Desserts and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
