County ecology study available

The 118-page East Contra Costa County Historical Ecology Study was released at a recent symposium. The 11x17 book of maps, photos and text explores the historical ecology of eastern Contra Costa.

The publication costs $15 and may be purchased in person from the CCC Conservation Division offices at 651 Pine St., fourth Floor, north wing in Martinez. A $15 fee is charged for home delivery. Send a check (made out to Contra Costa County) with a note specifying the shipping address to Contra Costa County, DCD, 651 Pine St., 4th Floor, North Wing, Martinez, CA 94553, Attn: Abby Fateman.
