Election filing period opens

Nearly all cities in East County are holding elections Nov. 6 for seats on their town councils and school boards. The application period runs through Aug. 10 except for Antioch city offices, for which the final date to file is Aug. 9 because Antioch City Hall is closed on Fridays. The following applicants have pulled (obtained applications) and/or filed for the ballot as of press time:

MAYORALTIES
