Dear Mr. Dawson.  Do you really care where I live as long as it is not next door to you?  Our great neighborhood became overrun with Section 8 making us glad we moved  back when you could make a killing on your price. But I have been out here for more than 20 years.  I bet we even have shopped at Safeway at the very same time with no incidents or name calling.  And I VOTED FOR YOU

SO, even if I moved,  Mr. Dawson should still resign.  If he has to go to Stockton for Psychiatric care, cannot afford medication, and abuses people he needs ALL the time and public resources available to him to get his life back on track. For all we know he could end up with a short hospital stay to adjust his medication. I am for whatever he needs to get better. That should be the wish for us all in this situation.

And if he writes several paragraphs regarding his medical/psychiatric condition, which to me sounded as though he is planning to use this as a defense, his thinking clearly is skewed.  I do have empathy for what he must deal with-not taking his medication for three months (I believe that it what he stated) however, ripping a phone out of a wall is still a Penal Code “wobbler,” meaning the DA can charge it as either a misdemeaner or a felony.

Mt Dawson will need an attorney and will likely need to prove he is now taking his medication, and find a placee to live if he is not living in his Discovery Bay home.

It  is clear to me, Mr.Dawson, that you do not like me.  This is not relevant, so I will not address it.  And I have lived here  over 20 years and am a Native Contra Costan.
