The Immaculate Heart eighth-grade American boys team finished its final year of CYO basketball on a high note. Led by head coach Lee Hancock for seven years, the team took the championship trophy of the East Diablo League for the fifth straight year – a bittersweet finish for the boys entering high school in the fall.

The IHM players are Chandler Hancock, Kyle Ruff, Marcus Wallace, Kobe Ford, Isiah Clement, Kevin Milan, John Ketchel, and Adam Saleh. The team is coached by Hancock, Tim Ruff and Larry Wallace. The IHM eighth-grade American boys head to Oakland for diocesan competition in hopes of becoming repeat champions.
