Fire seems to pour from the heavens over Discovery Bay in this sunset photo taken on Sept. 4 by Kendra Fisher. Discovery Bay wasn’t the only place to spot the phenomenon, as The Press received photos from Brentwood and Antioch as well. The effect is caused by … oh never mind. Just enjoy the shot.
