On Sept. 25 at 4:33 a.m., Antioch Police and Con Fire responded to the report of a car fire at the Casablanca Apartment complex on Claudia Court.

Upon arrival, officers found five cars fully engulfed, as well as the carport on the south side of the complex. The fire quickly spread to an apartment building and 10 units were evacuated by the police.

No one was injured during the incident, but eight of the 10 apartments were deemed uninhabitable. The Red Cross responded to provide aid to the eight families displaced by the fire.

The cause of the fire has not been determined as of yet and is still under investigation.
