Longtime Brentwood resident Frances Hanson Domingo passed away on Oct. 23, 2011. She was 84 years old.

A descendant of the pioneering Morgan family, Frances was born on Dec. 16, 1926 in Brentwood. She was a lifetime member and officer of the Native Daughters of the Golden West. She graduated from College of Marin and worked for 20 years in the Brentwood Union Elementary School District.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, and daughter, Dianne. Survivors include her son David and his wife, Jeanie Domingo; two grandsons, Christopher and Patrick Jensen; one great granddaughter; two sisters, June Bunn and Helen Cakebread; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial will be held on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Flor do Oakley Hall, 520 Second St. in Oakley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
