Freedom High School’s Arts & Media Academy students presented their eighth annual A Walk Through Time, highlighting newsworthy people and events during the past 110 years of American history.

After Freedom’s band serenaded the crowd with tunes from bygone times, guests were escorted into a multipurpose room subdivided by booths depicting decades from 1900 to 2010.

Guests were greeted with a handshake from students dressed as historical characters, complete with a brief but fun biography of the person.

On this evening, one might shake hands with a U.S. president, a groundbreaking business person or an early sports figure.

The middle of the room, historical events such as civil rights and anti-war demonstrations were depicted.
