Brentwood resident and business owner Sylvia Melendez of Tierra Mia Organics will feature her line of all-natural soaps and lotions made with goat’s milk at the third annual Goat Festival in San Francisco on Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Sponsored by Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture, the festival takes place at the Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market, located along Market Street and the Embarcadero. Other vendors will be offering goat’s milk ice cream, goat caramel and other goat’s-milk-inspired foods.

Melendez, a licensed esthetician with more than 20 years of experience in the field, offers an array of soaps in scents such as lavender, cinnamon black pepper, clove black pepper, rosemary lavender, cinnamon leaf vanilla, vanilla, lemon grass, spearmint, and almond coffee, as well as lotions, facial creams and toners.

Her products are sold at Brentwood Yoga Center, Hannah Nicole Vineyards and McCauley Brothers Olive Groves. For more information, visit www.tierramiaorganics.com.
