The documentary film about the top-secret interrogation center at Camp Tracy, better known these days as Byron Hot Springs – a film that made its American debut in November at Brentwood's Delta Cinema – was screened Sunday, Feb. 22 in Tracy.

The hour-long film chronicles how the historic Hot Springs resort was used during World War II to house and question Japanese prisoners of war. Enemy secrets were learned there that helped win the war for the United States.

“Secret Interrogation Center Tracy: The Top Secrets Revealed by Japanese Prisoners of War” is in Japanese with English subtitles. The event was a private screening for members of The Tracy Historical Museum and the East Contra Costa Historical Society.
