Joseph R Ziegler, a 2011 Deer Valley High School graduate, recently completed his basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, where he received his BMT Ribbon and National Defense Ribbon.

Ziegler continued his training for electrical aircraft systems at Keesler and Sheppard Air Force bases and will be stationed in Okinawa, Japan at Kadena Air Force Base.
