The Brentwood Parks and Recreation Department is offering gymnastics classes beginning the week of July 31. During the five or six-week programs, the staff from Black Diamond Kids Center will teach children coordination, balance, flexibility and kinesthetic awareness through group games and an introduction to basic tumbling, trampoline and the balance beam.

Classes are available for 6-12-year-olds on Tuesday afternoons or Saturday mornings. A variety of classes for babies, toddlers, and 3-5-year-olds will be held Tuesday and Saturday mornings. All classes meet at the Black Diamond Kids Center, 2015 Elkins Way in Brentwood. To register, call the Brentwood Parks and Recreation Department at 925-516-5444 or visit www.brentwoodca.gov.
