Imagine the joys of inn-to-inn hiking: you leave your car behind, explore lovely landscapes, and end each day with a good meal, a hot shower and a comfortable bed.

On Thursday, March 15 at 7 p.m., REI Brentwood presents Tom Courtney, who will share some of the remarkable multi-day hiking adventures he features in his new guidebook, “Walkabout Northern California: Hiking Inn to Inn.”

The public is invited to join Courtney as he shares his expertise in hiking the spectacular Bay Area coastline, from the Marin Headlands to Point Reyes National Seashore, traversing the Sierra on a section of the historic Emigrant Trail, and exploring the rugged Mendocino Coast.

REI Brentwood is located in The Streets of Brentwood lifestyle center, 2475 Sand Creek Road. For more information, visit www.rei.com/brentwoodca.
