Liberty’s Shawn Vasquez beats a would-be tackler to the edge in the Lions’ 32-0 victory over McNair-Stockton last Friday.

Vasquez scored twice in a game sealed in the third quarter with two touchdowns after leading 12-0 at halftime. Liberty is now 3-1 on the season and plays at Oakland tonight, Oct. 9.

In other local action, Antioch lost to Oakmont-Roseville 28-14 and is now 2-3 as it heads into its bye week.

Heritage’s bye week was last Friday; the Patriots play at Skyline this Friday, Oct. 9.
