The International Institute of the Bay Area has opened its new office at 3240 Lone Tree Way, Suite 202 in Antioch in order to assist residents of East Contra Costa County with low-cost legal immigration services.

Founded in 1918, the IIBA is a nonprofit organization providing low-cost legal services to the immigrant community in the areas of naturalization/citizenship, family-based immigration and some forms of humanitarian relief. The organization operates three other offices in the Bay Area.

According to a statement released by IIBA attorney Juan Ortiz, two important ways the organization can serve the immigrant population of East Contra Costa County are to educate and inform friends, neighbors, and fellow residents of the various immigration laws that can impact their lives; and to provide low-cost direct legal assistance.
