Matt was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a kind, hardworking family man who lived his life with love and joy and laughter. Matt loved a good joke. He usually managed to look at the bright side of almost any situation and thought it was foolish to take things too seriously. His easy sense of humor and beautiful smile were uplifting to all who knew him. It was hard to be anything but happy in Matt’s presence.
It isn’t possible to list all of Matt’s good qualities in such a small space. But the number of people who love him speaks volumes about the character of the man. His sudden passing from this life left a void that for many will never be filled.
Matt is survived by his loving and devoted family: wife, Brandi; daughter, Miya; stepdaughter, Emili; father and stepmother, Jim and Lori Maxwell; mother, Renee Connolly; brother, Andrew Maxwell; stepsister, Stephanie Newell; grandparents, Alan and Carroll Maxwell; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew and in-laws. He is also missed by many loving friends.
Services and a celebration of his life were held.
