Mr. Dawson needs to resign his seat as Vice President of the town Community Service District immediately, regardless of the outcome of his arrest for domestic violence. There are a lot of ways his case could go, and regardless of how things turn out, this is another
dark day for this group. And he will have his hands full in court, and perhaps court ordered counseling, for quite some time. He should shift his focus to his legal and family issues and let the Board select someone who has the time, energy and a clean slate. I do not care to share my opinion of how this may play out, but there are issues here that he may not be able to skirt around, and it will be complicated. So, do the right thing, and resign, Mr. Dawson.
