In an effort to raise funds for local schools, the McDonald’s restaurant at 914 Main St. in Oakley will donate a portion of sales from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13 to Oakley Elementary School.

McDonald’s owners throughout the Greater Bay Area are partnering with neighboring schools for the McTeacher’s Night event. Each school’s principal and up to 10 teachers will “work” at their local McDonald’s restaurant greeting customers, working the registers, and, in some cases, assisting in the kitchen area with the preparation of food. Families of students and local school supporters are invited to visit their local McDonald’s and support the fundraiser.

“We are delighted to work with our local schools on this special evening to collectively raise money for education on behalf of McDonald’s,” said McDonald’s Owner/Operator Brad Goldblatt.
