You, Me, We Oakley! hosts the city’s ninth annual Cinco de Mayo Community Celebration on Saturday, May 5 from 1 to 5 p.m. at O’Hara Park School, 1100 O’Hara Ave.

Tickets are $7 in advance and $9 at the door. Proceeds will be used for university field trips so that Oakley students can make educated decisions about their future.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to enjoy the music, food and entertainment of the Mexican culture,” said community member Enrique “Rick” Melgoza. “What I like best about this event is that the performances, such as the folkloric dancing and the theater, include the youth from our schools. This is truly a community effort.”
