Oakley Police are investigating the robbery of an occupied home in Oakley last weekend.

Police Chief Chris Thorsen said his department received a call at 12:35 a.m. Saturday on the 1300 block of Port Court: “Several victims reported that two black males with handguns approached the victims as they stood in their garage, forced them to lie on the ground and demanded money.” The suspects then took the victims into the house and searched inside. One victim was reportedly pistol whipped, but refused medical attention.

Thorsen said $1,000 in cash and an undetermined amount of marijuana was taken from a safe, and a video game system was also taken from the home.

“It appears the attackers knew at least one of the victims,” Thorsen said.

Those with information should call Det. Robert Jiminez at 925-625-8855.

It happened Friday at 12:30am, not saturday. And $1000 was taken from ONE ROOM in the home, not including the cash stolen from victims' wallets, which equaled another $1000. And TWO PS3'S were taken, not just one, and cell phones were also stolen...The occuapnts of the home did NOT know the robbers, but someone they did know SENT the robbers there. Get the facts correct please.
