The developers of the local area around Caboose Park have decided to quickly eliminate the burrowing owls who have made Brentwood their home for the last few years. These owls are being suffocated by black tarp and those that are not easily accessible from the street are being physically targeted by two workers with shovels who go around the area destined to be "new Homes" for people and killing any burrowing animals in their homes. This means the burrowing owls who inhabit the holes dug by squirrels and gophers. What to do? Can we do something? Is there someone who has a solution? It is happening NOW and all I could do was watch. If you have any suggestions, please post a response.
