After receiving the gift of life in 1995, Paula went on to live an amazing life. She was born in San Francisco and raised in Pacifica, where she graduated from Oceana High School. After graduation, she worked at First National Bank as a teller, where she met her loving husband, Derle. They were married on Feb. 14, 1987 at Good Shepherd Church. Shortly after the marriage, they adopted their son, Jonathan.
Paula was an avid fan of music, whether country or rock and roll. Through this love, she touched the lives of many around the world. She also had a love of all animals and was a dynamic animal rights’ advocate.
Paula was a true inspiration to everyone who had the pleasure to know her. Her warm, infectious smile and her zest for life enveloped all.
She is survived by her husband, Derle; son, Jonathan; parents, Beverly and Angelo Gaggero; sisters, Denise Gaggero and Cheryl Taylor; belated brother, Angelo Gaggero; and nieces and nephews, Danielle and Nicole Gaggero, Tiffany Taylor, Daniel Long and Stormy Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to your local animal shelter on behalf of Paula Davis. A memorial celebration of Paula’s life will be held on Dec. 4 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Pacifica Moose Lodge, 775 Bradford Way in Pacifica. For more information, call 650-355-1540.
