Brentwood Elementary School second graders joined in the celebration of National Family History Month by inviting their families to an evening of relaxed conversation, great food, singing, poems and family histories. During this first trimester, the lessons have included writing an autobiography, interviewing a grandparent, sharing family artifacts, studying geography and writing a report about a country from which their ancestors had emigrated.
