The second annual Resurrection Rise, Ride and Run will be held in Brentwood on Saturday, April 16. All proceeds from the event go to help build a house in Haiti. Last year, participants and businesses raised more than $1,000 for disaster relief.

All events begin and end at Resurrection Ministries, 1275 Fairview Ave. in Brentwood. Participants may choose from three events: a 5k (3.1 mile) run/walk, a 10-mile family bike ride, and a 30-mile bike ride. The first ride begins at 9:30 a.m. A raffle prize drawing and complimentary barbecue lunch will follow.

Registration is held at Resurrection Ministries. Same-day registration is available.

Rise, Ride and Run is sponsored by Brentwood Bike Company, Willy’s Bagels and Blends, and Double L Design. For more information, including registration fees, visit www.riseriderun.org or call event coordinator Christa Prill at 925-354-6930.
