Brentwood residents Betty and Jack Gaughan took their Hometown Weekly Newspaper to a place in Texas that long ago went by the name of Mission San Antonio de Valero – now known as The Alamo.

The Gaughans’ visited several museums; attended a meeting of the Rotary Club of San Antonio Sunset, where Jack exchanged a Brentwood Rotary banner for a San Antonio Sunset banner; and made an excursion to Austin for the wedding of a longtime friend and high school classmate of Jack.

The Brentwood Press thanks the Gaughans for the whirlwind tour.
