The NorCal Titans 12U Silver team took the field – and took home the title – at the recent seventh annual Memorial Day Classic. It took the Titans three games to get into their stride. Following a 10-3 loss to the Pleasanton Pythons and 7-7 tie against the Brentwood Elite, the Titans broke into the W column big-time, beating the Golden Gate Sliders 9-0 and avenging their earlier loss to the Elite 5-2. Next up were NorCal’s White team, which the Silver team defeated 14-9, and Solano Dragons, which fell to the Titans 10-2 in the championship game.
