Andrea, Ariah, Kaile, Cortney and Caitlyn of Girl Scout Troop 30340 proudly display the letters they wrote to Mayor Kevin Romick requesting that a speed limit sign be posted on Brown Road. Ariah addressed the council at its June 26 meeting, and in July, the city adopted the girls’ recommendation by not only replacing the original speed limit sign, which had gone missing, but also added a second sign. “I appreciate the interest that these young people have shown,” said Romick.
