The community welcomed home Staff Sgt. Agustin Torres (center of the crowd, white and red checked shirt) recently with a Warrior Watch Rider escort and a welcome home event at Antioch’s Veterans Hall.

Torres has served as a mechanic, recovery specialist and convoy gun team member. He served in Iraq in 2005 before ending his active duty in 2006.

Now a member of the Maryland Army National Guard, Torres will deploy there again in 2011 with the 1729th Field Support Maintenance Company.
