Kumon Math and Reading Centers are joining forces with the Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) program to bring books to underprivileged children nationwide via a literacy open house on Saturday, March 3 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Kumon Center, 4530 Balfour Road, Suite B in Brentwood.

Families are invited to attend the free event, which will include read-aloud sessions featuring selections from Kumon’s recommended reading list. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new book to donate to the RIF local chapter. Refreshments, games and prizes will be provided.

For each new student enrollment during the month of March, Kumon will donate $10 to RIF – the equivalent of four new books.
