Dear friends: To all of you who supported Erik and Tanya Nunn, and to those of you who have been supporting our grandchildren after the death of their parents, it is a very difficult time for our family, but the aid and comfort of the community and others all over the country is helping us get through this trial.

We are very grateful for all the financial assistance and affection that has been given to our four grandchildren. We want to thank all of you who have held and helped with fundraising events. Also we want to thank the hundreds and thousands of you who have donated time and money to our grandchildren.

The sympathy cards and words of sympathy have helped us get through this period in our lives. No one ever thinks they will lose their children like this, but the community has been so sympathetic and supportive that our hearts have been comforted tremendously by all the acts of kindness.

There are not enough words to explain our grief to you or how much we appreciate all of the support we have received from Erik and Tanya's friends, neighbors, and citizens of Oakley and Contra Costa County. We were overwhelmed and blessed by all of the people who are helping our grandchildren and are thankful for all of their love, kindness and generosity.

We offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to all of you kind and wonderful people who have been there for Erik, Tanya, and are there for Elorah, Nikolette, Tezianna and Ethan. Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers.
