There’s a new home décor retailer in Antioch called Kirkland’s, and for its grand opening this weekend, the store will have gift card drawings galore, including one for a $1,000 shopping spree.

Kirkland’s is an affordable home accessories store with more than 300 locations nationwide, including its first Bay area location at Empire Shopping Center, 5875 Lone Tree Way, in Antioch.

Fill out an entry form in the store on Saturday and Sunday to possibly win one of five $50 gift cards, and also the shopping spree gift cards of $1,000 and $500.

The entry forms will be available near the cash registers starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, until the time of the final drawing late afternoon on Sunday, Dec. 4.  (Winners will be drawn throughout the day on Sunday for the five gift cards.)

The drawing from the same box for both a $1,000 and a $500 gift card is at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Kirkland's specializes in fun items such as framed art, mirrors, wall décor, candles, lamps, decorative accessories, accent furniture, textiles, gifts and garden accessories. The store’s website is www.kirklands.com (not to be confused with Costco’s line of merchandise).
